I still treat my systems as though they're sysvinit. None of them are, but the only parts I touch have enough compat layer that the only way I can tell is my /etc/init.d scripts always warn me to run some other command instead. (Since adding stuff to the init system is the package's job, I never have to do that on a well-packaged system)
