I’m shocked, shocked!
But seriously, I think it’s time to discuss the possibility of adding clauses to license agreements that would render the license immediately null and void (and possibly money owed to the licensor) in the event of any such “misunderstandings.” The legal wording could perhaps be something about falsely claiming copyright ownership to a third party.
