I remain surprised that elementary schools were ever open this school year, but much more surprised that parents went along with video-lecture ‘online learning’ instead of just taking a year off.

@mikeboos Oh yeah, I wouldn’t do the ‘online video lectures for elementary ed’ thing for sure. Better to do basically anything but that IMO.

@mikeboos what would even be the point? It’s almost June… seems like all downside to open schools with less than a month to go?
