How can you tell if a link is just a permalink? Well, on microblogging services I use a shortlink ending with /t* at the very end of the post. On long-form services you can probably tell that the title of the link is a complete post instead of just a headline by the way it's written.

I mean… I hated university, but I still think it was valuable. And, in retrospect, most of the value I got I got from arts electives.
But then tuition has like tripled since then, so that’s a point to consider probably.

The uni degree gave me something to fall back on to actually make money…. Going to chef school at 30 vs 20 also meant more maturity, better perspective, less wanting to deal with the burnout side of hospitality. I think working + uni helped realise that
